Join ACE Western Pennsylvania for a second event on the same
day! Before running for the Allegheny Mountains, start at
the foothills of the Laurel Mountains. ACE Western
Pennsylvania invites all ACE members and their guests to
attend ACE Goes IdleWILD at Idlewild and SoakZone beginning
earlier that morning on Saturday, June 25, 2022. Come
discover this amazing family-oriented park in a lush wooded
setting. Idlewild offers Rollo Coaster, a fun hillside
junior wooden coaster; and Wild Mouse, a unique and
exceptional version of the ride set among the park's trees.
Attendees will also find a number of classic rides including
Adult Hand Cars -- if you remember riding little
hand-powered cars on tracks at parks as a kid, this is a
larger one that accommodates adults! For the kid in all of
us, the park offers a ride into Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood,
based on the values of Mister Rogers' Neighborhood.
Additionally, SoakZone is an awesome family water park and
Story Book Forest is great fun for families with small
children and all of those adults wishing to relive their
childhood! The event includes morning ERT on all of the
aforementioned rides, plus a great all-you-can-eat picnic lunch!
Click the ACE Goes IdleWILD event logo above for more
information on that event!
Join ACE Western Pennsylvania for a second event on the same
day! Allegheny Mountain Madness to take place at Lakemont
Park in Altoona and DelGrosso's Park in Tipton, both less
than 90 minutes from Idlewild and SoakZone. For Lakemont
Park, attendees will receive a ticket to ride Leap The Dips,
the world's oldest roller coaster and another ticket to
ride Skyliner, the park's other classic wood coaster. The
ride tickets may also be exchanged for a $6 credit toward an
Unlimited Ride & Play Pass on either the event day, or the
next day, Sunday, June 26 (and the ride tickets are valid
all summer as well) At DelGrosso's, attendees can enjoy two
coaster credits -- a spinning Crazy Mouse and a
kiddie coaster, as well as a lot of classic rides and an
amazing waterpark themed to Italy. An evening group dinner
will include a sampling of their food known to be some of
the best in the country. The menu will include a half
barbequed
chicken, spaghetti with DelGrosso's marinara sauce, and
Murf's famous potato salad. Attendees will be able to
