Celebrate The Exterminator's 25th Anniversary!
Join ACE Western Pennsylvania for its annual flagship event - KennyKon! This year, we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the ever-popular indoor spinning coaster, The Exterminator! In addition, the original part of Thunderbolt, originally known as Pippin, is celebrating 100 years. The Exterminator and Thunderbolt will host morning ERT, along with Turtle, which underwent a restoration following last summer. Nighttime ERT will include the brand new Potato Smash and The Phantom's Revenge, which is undoubtedly one of the best night rides out there! Registered attendees will also enjoy a catered all-you-can-eat picnic dinner and other surprises as well!
Tentative Schedule
8:30 - 9:15 a.m. - Event check-in at Kennywood main entrance
9:30 - 11 a.m. - ERT on Thunderbolt, The Exterminator and Turtle
11 a.m. - 10 p.m. - Kennywood open for ACEers and the public to enjoy
1 p.m. Behind-The-Scenes Experience in area between and behind Racer and The Steel Curtain with the possibility of exploring some of the usually restricted areas of The Steel Curtain, subject to avoiding any active work areas.
5 - 6 p.m. - All-you-can-eat picnic dinner featuring penne pasta with marinara; pulled pork BBQ; chicken tenders with ranch, honey mustard, buffalo sauce; macaroni & cheese; potato salad; fresh fruit salad; assorted frozen novelties; and soft drinks
7 p.m. 74th annual Fall Fantasy Parade
10 - 11 p.m. - ERT on The Phantom's Revenge and Potato Smash
ACE Western Pennsylvania's famous ITOTs (Informal Take-Over Times) of rides will be scheduled throughout the day, and will include Jack Rabbit, Racer, Kangaroo, Wave Swinger and other classic Kennywood rides.
Event check-in aside, the schedule is tentative and subject to change.
Join Us At The Fall Fantasy Parade
This year, KennyKon takes place on the first night of Fall Fantasy, so the usual informal ACE Fall Fantasy event will be rolled into KennyKon. Attendees will enjoy an opportunity to represent ACE by participating in the park's 74th annual Fall Fantasy Parade. Details are still being worked out, but will be made available to attendees closer to the date of the event.

Make A Weekend Out Of It!
Make a weekend out of it and join us the day after KennyKon XXXV for SpashBash! on the Mon, the region's first ever waterpark event, which will be held at nearby Sandcastle on the shores of the Monongahela River. The informal event offers discounted admission (for those without season passes valid at Sandcastle), early entry and a full 60 minutes of EST (Exclusive Slide Time) on Blue Tubaluba and Bombs Away. All memberships are verified by event organizers. Non-members may attend only if registered with and accompanied by an ACE member.
Cancellation Policy: Refunds will be issued less a $10/person cancellation fee if notice is given by July 24, 2024

NOTE: No materials will be provided in advance. All registration materials (name badge, admission ticket, etc.) are picked up at the event. You do NOT need to print tickets or have mobile tickets available when you check in on the day of the event.
After registering, you will receive an immediate email confirmation through Universe, our third-party registration/payment service. Within 72 hours of registering, you will receive a second confirmation from ACE Western Pennsylvania's regional representative, which will be sent from blinkenheimer@aceonline.org. Two to four days prior to the event, those registered will receive an email with detailed information and any relevant instructions. This email will be sent from eventregistration@ACEwesternPA.org. We suggest adding those email addresses to your contact list and/or safe-senders list, to avoid having them go to spam or alternate email folders. Note that emails will only be sent to the email addresses entered by the individual performing the registration. If you register friends and family, we suggest that you forward any informational emails along to them.
If you have registered in advance and arrive after the scheduled check-in time, your registration materials will be left at the guest relations office at the park's main entrance. Note however that the guest relations office and/or park gates may not open until the park opens to the public, and therefore arriving late may cause you to miss morning ERT.
There will be NO refunds issued after July 24, 2024
The payment of registration fees by, for or on behalf of participants releases and holds harmless American Coaster Enthusiasts, Inc. and its Officers, Executive Committee Members, Regional Representatives and other representatives from any and all liabilities related to those activities. The payment of registration fees by, for or on behalf of participants acknowledges that an inherent risk of exposure to Covid-19 exists in public places where people are present and that attendees voluntarily assume all risks to exposure to Covid-19 and holds harmless American Coaster Enthusiasts, Inc. and its Officers, Executive Committee Members, Regional Representatives and other representatives from any and all illness and injury.

Order Your KennyKon XXXV T-shirt!
Commemorative KennyKon XXXV T-shirts must be ordered when registering for the event and may be ordered through July 1. The cost is $18 per shirt. Each type of registration (member, non-member, season passholder, etc.) is available with or without a T-shirt. Options with a T-shirt are an additional $18. Choose accordingly. Those choosing a registration with a T-shirt will be prompted for size. Sizes available are Small, Medium, Large, XL, 2X and 3X.

Located only three miles from Kennywood, this is the closest hotel to the park. The hotel is currently undergoing renovation, but it shouldn't affect your stay. It offers a 24-hour fitness center and a complimentary full breakfast, and is located in The Waterfront, a dynamic shopping and entertainment complex. All rooms include complimentary high-speed internet, coffee makers and 32” televisions.
Rate is $139 per night for one king bed (up to two persons per room) or $159 per night for two double beds (up to four persons per room), plus 14% tax; and includes a full breakfast. Rooms are blocked for the nights of August 2 and 3.
Deadline for reservations is June 2, 2024 to guarantee the rate. Rooms are limited and subject to availability. The discounted rate may be honored after the deadline if rooms are available.
To reserve, call the hotel at 412.205.3904 and once you give the dates for your stay, identify yourself as being with the group "ACE" to receive the special rate.
Cancellations: Room reservations made at the ACE rate may be cancelled up until 48 hours prior to the scheduled date of arrival. No deposit is required.
