The greatest concern of American Coaster Enthusiasts is the health, safety and enjoyment of its members. To ensure continued safety, ACE is closely monitoring the ever-evolving COVID-19 situation. As a result, KennyKon XXXI has been changed from its original date of June 20 to August 15. To accommodate any possible changes or cancellation as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, registration will remain suspended and will likely open sometime in June.

Notice to those who have already registered: You should have received an email from indicating that you can either keep your registration for the rescheduled August 15 event, or receive a full refund.

Celebrating the Oldest and Newest

Halfway through the 2019 season, the park debuted The Steel Curtain. The mammoth new 220-foot tall, nine-inversion thrill ride received rave reviews from enthusiasts and was awarded Best New Roller Coaster by Amusement Today's Golden Ticket Awards. This year during KennyKon, we'll not only enjoy the second season of the park's newest coaster, but we'll celebrate the centennial anniversary of its oldest! The park's legendary Jack Rabbit, an ACE Roller Coaster Landmark, turns 100 this year. The event will include the official celebration of this incredible milestone that only a handful of coasters have previously reached! Both of these rides – the newest – and the oldest, will be included in morning ERT!

ACE Fall Fantasy 2020

For the first time in KennyKon history, the event coincides with the park's annual Fall Fantasy Parade. ACE Western Pennsylvania usually hosts an annual informal event, ACE Fall Fantasy, to celebrate it and fill the Kennywood trolley with ACE members to ride in it during the parade. This year, this tradition will be integrated as part of KennyKon XXXI. All ACE members attending the event are welcome to enter their name into a lottery to ride the trolley in the 71st annual Fall Fantasy Parade.

To enter the lottery to ride on the Kennywood trolley during the Fall Fantasy Parade in the evening during KennyKon, please email ACE Western Pennsylvania Regional Rep Bill Linkenheimer at no later than Sunday, August 2. Be sure to indicate the names of all members in your group who wish to enter the lottery. Note that all of those who enter must be a current ACE member and those chosen must be registered to attend KennyKon in order to participate. Winners will be chosen at random and limited to one per household. Each winner will be able to bring one other person, who also must be a member and registered to attend KennyKon XXXI. All who enter the lottery will be notified in advance, whether their name is chosen or not.
