ACE Holiday Magic
An Event Full of Magic!
Top off your Thanksgiving weekend with the 13th annual installment of Kennywood Park's Holiday Lights, during which the park is decorated with over two million lights! Owing to the popularity of the format of last year's event, this year's will again include a holiday feast of a dinner and will require advance registration! Attendees will also receive early entry into the park, ERT on Jack Rabbit (as long as temperatures aren't below 40 degrees) and the opportunity to meet Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and his friends, in addition to a the chance to mingle with fellow members during a schedule of optional ITOTs (Informal TakeOver Times) and meetups on various rides and attractions.
REGISTRATION IS LIMITED! Unfortunately, all of the extra magic comes with a capacity limitation. As such, registration will be capped off at about 115. Those who wish to attend are encouraged to register early.
A Very Jolly Schedule
1 - 1:45 p.m. Event check-in at main gate
1:45 p.m. Registered attendees may enter the park
2 p.m. Group Photo in front of Jack Rabbit
2:05 - 3 p.m. ERT on Jack Rabbit (Note that the coaster can't operate if the temperatures are below 40 degrees)
2:30 - 3 p.m. ERT (Exclusive Rudoph Time) — This is the only 30 minutes of the day that park guests will encounter Rudoph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and ALL of his friends (Bumble, Clarice and Sam the Snowman) at the same time. Find it in Pavilion 17 behind Aero 360.
3 p.m. ITOT on Racer (avoid the lines later and queue up before the park gates open!)
3 - 9 p.m. Kennywood open to the public and you
3:30 p.m. ITOT on Journey with Thomas (train)
4 p.m. ITOT on Wave Swinger
4:30 p.m. ITOT on Potato Smash
5:40 p.m. Meet at the Big Tree for the Tree Lighting Ceremony (selected event attendees will do the honors!)
6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Holiday Feast in End Zone Cafe
8 p.m. ITOT on Merry Go Round
9 p.m. Park closes
Additional activities including ITOTs (Informal TakeOver Times) will be added to the schedule.
Event check-in aside, the schedule is tentative and subject to change.
ACE Western Pennsylvania takes no responsibility for any decisions by the park should it choose not to open or close early due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, and likewise if weather or other issues prohibit one or more of the event's activities from taking place. If the park does not open, the event will be considered cancelled and will not be rescheduled. Note that if the event is cancelled, registration fees will be fully refunded.
Park Policies
The height requirement for Jack Rabbit is 48" to ride alone and 42" to ride accompanied by a responsible person. For height requirements for all other rides, click here.
Parking is free in designated areas. Preferred parking is available for an additional fee and to those with appropriate season passes.
Cameras are not permitted on rides at any time.

Registration is available through November 20, 2024, or until sold out, whichever comes first.
Adult ACE Members - $44
Child ACE Members (Ages 4-10) - $37
Adult ACE Members with Season Pass - $28

There will be no late or on-site registration, so those who wish to attend are advised to register early.
The payment of registration fees by, for or on behalf of participants releases and holds harmless American Coaster Enthusiasts, Inc. and its Officers, Executive Committee Members, Regional Representatives and other representatives from any and all liabilities related to those activities. The payment of registration fees by, for or on behalf of participants acknowledges that an inherent risk of exposure to Covid-19 exists in public places where people are present and that attendees voluntarily assume all risks to exposure to Covid-19 and holds harmless American Coaster Enthusiasts, Inc. and its Officers, Executive Committee Members, Regional Representatives and other representatives from any and all illness and injury.

SCHEDULE ADVISORY
Inclement weather, equipment problems or other unforeseen circumstances may affect the published schedule. The park will do its best to provide ride times and rides as listed; however, the schedule of events remains tentative and is subject to change based on the park's operational status and local health restrictions at the time of the event.
REFUNDS AND REGISTRATION FEES
Refunds will not be given after the stated deadline. Registration fees will not be prorated for partial attendance and tickets are nontransferable. Event attendee substitutions are at ACE’s discretion. Permission must be obtained prior to the event, in writing, from the event contact.
The payment of registration fees by, for, or on behalf of participants releases and holds harmless the American Coaster Enthusiasts Worldwide Inc. and its Officers, Directors, Executive Committee Members and representatives from any and all liabilities related to those activities. Returned checks and chargeback disputes will be treated as uncollected debt. ACE reserves the right to execute debt collection following the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
NAME BADGES
You must be registered and your official event name badge must be visible to participate in scheduled event activities.
CODE OF CONDUCT
Members and their guests should be especially aware that their behavior affects ACE’s reputation, and they are expected to abide by ACE’s Code of Conduct at all times during the event and follow all host park policies, including, but not limited to, alcohol consumption. Members are responsible for the conduct of their nonmember guests. Parents and/or guardians are responsible for supervising minor event attendees. Members found to be in violation of the code are subject to ACE's disciplinary procedures, which may be in the form of, but not limited to, verbal or written warning, membership suspension or involuntary termination.
Any violations of park policies, including underage alcohol consumption are a violation of section C.1 of ACE’s Code of Conduct and could result in suspension of the member’s ACE membership as well as action by the park.
ACCESSIBILITY
Should you need special accommodations such as a wheelchair, speech/hearing, etc., refer to the participating parks policy prior to the event date. Most parks offer a complete guide for guests with a disability.
