UPDATE AS OF DECEMBER 1 at 1 PM: Due to the unfavorable weather and weather forecast, Kennywood's management has made the decision that the park won't be open this evening. We therefore regret that ACE Holiday Magic 2019 is cancelled.

Since Kennywood is closed tonight and the ACE Holiday Magic 2019 event is cancelled as a result, we've decided to have an alternate pop-up event at Scene 75 Entertainment Center in nearby Edgewood.  The gathering will begin at 4:30 p.m.  All activities at Scene 75 are indoors and the complex features go-karts, miniature golf, Spin Zone bumper cars, an XD Dark Ride, mini bowling, a large arcade, full-service food and lots more. As an added bonus, the first 20 ACE members to find Aaron Lesko (he'll be near the front) will get a $10 game card, compliments of Scene 75 (the $10 is only valid for arcade game play, but the card can be reloaded and used for attractions). Scene 75 is located in Edgewood Towne Center, just off the Edgewood exit of I-376 (Parkway East) and those using this exit to get to and from Kennywood routinely pass it.  For more information on Scene 75, click here.

Top off your Thanksgiving weekend with the ninth annual installment of Kennywood Park's Holiday Lights! The park is decorated with hundreds of thousands of holiday lights. Discount tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the event, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Attendees who are at the gate with a valid ticket (or eligble season pass) by 4:10 p.m. will enjoy early admission AND be treated to the first-ever tour inside of The Exterminator, which turned 20 years old this summer. Attendees will also have the chance to line up for "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" in 4-D before the general public enters the park. There will of course be a number of ITOTs (Informal Take Over Times) on various rides.  If temperatures for the evening are expected to be below 40 degrees, ACE Western Pennsylvania will provide a limited number of complimentary hand-warmers for event attendees. Note that early entry activities are contingent of favorable weather conditions. In the event of snow, sleet or rain, another activity may be substituted.

Kennywood is graciously offering ACE members a reduced park admission price of $17.00 (inclusive of $1 amusement tax) to attend this event, a $5 discount off the gate price. Beginning at 3:30 p.m. on the day of the event, ACE members may purchase discounted tickets at the park's Group Sales Office (at the front gate) by presenting a valid ACE membership card and may purchase tickets for guests as well, at the discounted rate. Discounted ticket sales will end at 5:30 p.m. Discounted tickets are valid this night only. Cash or credit cards are accepted. Eligible season pass holders may also use their season pass to enter the park. If you arrive after 5:30 p.m., you may purchase full price-admission tickets at the front gate ticket booths.

3:30 - 5:30 p.m.  Early ticket sales for ACE Members and their guests available in the Group Sales Office at the front entrance.

4 - 4:10 p.m. Attendees with a valid ticket or valid season pass may enter the park
(those arriving later will likely have to wait until 5 p.m. when the park opens to the public).

4:10 p.m. Gather near the entrance to The Exterminator and wait for a park official to escort the group inside.

4:10 - 4:45 p.m. Tour inside The Exterminator.

4:55 p.m.  First in line for "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer" in 4D

5:30 p.m.  ITOT on Journey with Thomas

5:40 p.m.  Meet at the Big Tree (located next to the Aero 360) for the Tree Lighting Ceremony

6:00 p.m.  ITOT on Ghostwood Estate

6:30 p.m.  ITOT on Noah's Ark

7:00 p.m.  Holiday Light show (the lagoon bridge is a great location to watch the show!)

7:30 p.m.  Reading of "Twas the Night before Christmas" from the Kennyville Stage

8:00 p.m. ITOT on Kangaroo

8:15 p.m. Miniature Train Display (Located in the Penny Arcade)

8:45 p.m.  ITOT on Merry-Go-Round

In addition to the attractions above, we strongly suggest you experience rides on Auto Race, Lil Phantom, Paratrooper and Pirate.

ACE Western Pennsylvania takes no responsibility for any decisions by the park should it choose not to open or close early due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances. If the park does not open, the event will be considered cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
